Why we included this project
Agent skills are small text files that teach coding assistants like Claude Code and Codex to do new things on demand, and this repo is a community-curated index of the ones real engineering teams have actually built and used. It is organized into official directories and community collections spanning document handling, marketing, development, and context engineering, and it also explains how skills load and run, which agents support them, and where to find more through the SkillsMP marketplace and the npx skills CLI. For teams new to the idea, the tutorials and quality standards sections make it easier to judge whether a skill is worth adopting before wiring it into a workflow. This is a reference and discovery resource rather than software you install, which is what you want when you are trying to decide which skills to trust.
