Why we included this project

Finding a reliable Codex or ChatGPT plugin usually means digging through scattered GitHub repos, where quality and safety vary wildly. This list fixes that by gathering dozens of vetted, installable bundles in one place. Every entry has to pass the HOL AI Plugin Scanner with a score of at least 80 and no high or critical findings, so broken or insecure submissions tend to get filtered out before they appear. It also works as an actual marketplace source: entries link to mirrored bundles, so you can point Codex at the repository and install plugins straight from the CLI or desktop app. Beyond the listings, there is practical guidance on building, validating, and contributing your own plugins, plus a section comparing official OpenAI plugins with the community set.
