Why we included this project
OpenAgent is aimed at teams that want to build vertical AI agents without wiring together a stack of separate services. It is a full-stack platform: a Flask and LangGraph backend, a Vue workspace for authoring visual workflows, dataset and retrieval wiring, tool and MCP skill bindings, and OpenAPI-based publishing for finished apps. The deep-research mode handles multi-step reasoning tasks that need concrete outputs, and A2A delegation lets one published agent hand work off to another. It is a heavier setup than a single-agent library, but teams building something like an internal Dify-style platform get the operational pieces, including versioning and debugging panels, that most agent frameworks leave out.
