Why we included this project

The LLM field moves fast enough that a paper you missed last month can already be outdated, and the same goes for training frameworks, inference tools, and checkpoints. Awesome-LLM gathers the useful ones into one place, with sections for milestone papers, open models, training frameworks, inference tooling, evaluation, and tutorials, and each entry links straight to the original paper, repository, or course. That makes it a good first stop for engineers and researchers who want to survey what exists before committing to a stack. It is updated regularly and tracks trending projects, so it does not go stale. Think of it as a reference shelf for building with LLMs, not something you deploy.
