Why we included this project

This list is aimed at people doing sentiment analysis and fine-grained opinion mining, particularly on Chinese text. The real value is the curation: it pulls together Chinese-language papers from journals like JCIP that are easy to miss, alongside the better-known ACL and EMNLP work, so you can survey the field without digging through a dozen venues. Entries link to the original paper and, when one exists, a working code repository, which makes it a practical place to start when you want to reproduce a baseline or pick a method to build on.
