Why we included this project

For teams that publish a steady stream of short-form video, this is a self-hosted way to produce it without per-video fees or rented GPU time. You give it a script or plain text and it builds the clip from text-to-speech narration, auto captions, background footage, and music, all rendered on your own machine. The server exposes both REST and the Model Context Protocol, so an agent like n8n can trigger a video automatically while developers who want finer control call the REST endpoints directly. A web UI covers manual use, and example n8n workflows in the docs show how to wire it into an existing automation setup.
