Why we included this project

Teams that already let Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex edit code often want the same control over design files. This project gives those agents 50+ Model Context Protocol tools for reading node structure, editing text and layout, propagating instance overrides, and exporting assets, so designers can hand off repetitive design-system maintenance instead of editing every layer. The setup is three pieces: an MCP server, a WebSocket relay, and a Figma plugin, and it runs partly outside the agent, so expect some wiring before it works. Demonstrated workflows like bulk text replacement for localization and bulk override propagation give a concrete sense of what it handles day to day, and you'll want to be comfortable with Bun and editor MCP configuration.
