Why we included this project

If your marketing team wants to see how generative AI actually works inside a real analytics stack, this repo is a working example rather than a slide deck. It comes with Terraform scripts, backend APIs, and a frontend, and the built-in demos walk through the practical tasks marketers care about: asking questions of BigQuery data in plain English, drafting email and social copy with Vertex's language and vision models, spotting trends in Google Trends dashboards, and pushing finished pieces into Google Workspace templates. The notebooks that accompany the solution do more of the teaching than the app does, with step-by-step walks through data Q&A using PaLM and news summarization built on LangChain. Since everything assumes Google Cloud and Vertex AI, it makes most sense for teams already on that platform or anyone trying to see how a production marketing assistant plugs together from end to end.
