Why we included this project

Scientific work rarely fits into a single database, and agents that move between AlphaGenome, UniProt, AFDB, OpenAlex, and PubMed usually end up needing hand-written prompts for each one. This bundle packages those integrations as several dozen agent skills, each a structured instruction file plus helper scripts that cover the correct API calls and key setup, so the agent spends less time fumbling with authentication and formatting. That means better grounding and lower token usage. Researchers and computational biology teams can install the whole collection with a single npx command instead of maintaining bespoke integrations, and because the skills are readable templates, they double as a starting point for writing your own custom skills for a niche database.
