Why we included this project

Tegaki removes the fiddly part of handwriting animation: you pick any font and it works out the stroke skeletons and timing, then draws the text stroke by stroke as a framework component or a standalone SVG. There's no tracing stroke paths by hand in an editor. The package ships renderers for React, Svelte, Vue, SolidJS, Astro, and plain JavaScript, so it fits most frontend stacks. The CLI generates a self-drawing, looping SVG from a single command, which is convenient for one-off assets you just drop into a page. The streamed handwriting mode also suits AI chat interfaces that want to show output being written out as it arrives.
