Why we included this project
Pulling evidence together across PubMed, ClinVar, ClinicalTrials.gov, and OncoKB usually means juggling different APIs, identifier schemes, and search habits. BioMCP puts roughly thirty trusted biomedical sources behind a single command grammar, so one query can fan out across literature, variants, drugs, and pathways and return deduplicated, evidence-oriented results. The same tools are exposed as a Model Context Protocol server, so Claude Code, Codex, and similar agents can call them directly, saving you from hand-building a workflow for each database. For downloaded cBioPortal-style datasets, the study commands add cohort, survival, and co-occurrence views with terminal, SVG, or PNG charts, and shipped skills walk you through worked examples. If your team does genomics or clinical evidence work, this gives you one consistent way to query it.
