Why we included this project

Keeping a GitHub profile README current usually means editing it by hand every time you publish. This GitHub Action automates that: you drop a marker comment where the list should go, point the workflow at one or more RSS feeds, and on a schedule it fetches the latest posts and rewrites that section. Because it reads any RSS source, the same setup handles dev.to, WordPress, Ghost, StackOverflow activity, and YouTube channels. The templating options are what lift it past a simple link dumper: you can control how each entry renders, filter or sort items, and match the output to your profile's style. For anyone who posts regularly and wants their GitHub presence to stay current without the manual chore, it's a small, reliable piece of automation.
