Why we included this project

Researchers in computer science and AI who already work through a coding-agent CLI can use claude-scholar to get a structured research workflow out of a tool they already run. The repo ships ready-made setups for Claude Code, OpenAI's Codex CLI, Kimi Code CLI, and OpenCode that cover a project end to end: pulling papers in from Zotero, running the literature review, designing and running experiments, then writing and polishing the manuscript, including publication-ready figures and tables. The workflows are evidence-gated, so claims must trace back to a shared research contract with records and promotion gates rather than turning into unsupported assertions. It suits solo researchers and small lab teams that want reproducible, reviewable AI-assisted work, and the same configuration handles general software-development tasks.
