Why we included this project
Viper is a self-hosted red team platform that ships with an LLM agent built in, so security teams can run AI-assisted penetration tests without stitching together separate frameworks. The web-based command center, more than a hundred post-exploitation modules mapped to MITRE ATT&CK, and implants for Windows, Linux, and macOS all come in one package. The MCP server and Claude Code plugin let operators drive Viper's sessions and modules from an AI coding assistant, which is useful for teams already working inside LLM-powered workflows. Red teamers who want one coherent, extensible platform instead of a pile of scripts will find the built-in agent useful during internal network assessments. It handles parameter entry and result interpretation, and it can suggest what to try next.
