Why we included this project

numasec is an AI security agent that runs in the terminal and works with the tools already on your machine. It follows structured security runbooks instead of acting as a separate chat window, and it keeps the whole operation in one place: target, scope, findings, evidence, replay, and the final report. The context stays alive when you switch between appsec, pentest, OSINT, and CTF work, so you don't lose the thread. Findings are tracked as they develop, and the agent can turn the operation into a report rather than making you reconstruct everything at the end. If you do authorized penetration testing, bug bounty hunting, or web app triage and want an assistant that keeps evidence close to the work, this is a practical fit.
