Why we included this project

agenticSeek is a fully local take on the autonomous-agent tools that normally run in the cloud. The assistant lives on your own hardware, is voice-enabled, and can search the web, read pages, fill in forms, and write and run code in Python, C, Go, Java, and other languages without calling a paid API. Nothing leaves your machine, which matters if you work with sensitive files or proprietary code. The agent also picks the right sub-agent for each request and breaks large tasks into steps, so it handles trip planning and multi-step research alike. Because it is built for local reasoning models, you pair it with a model you already run rather than paying for a hosted service, making it a sensible choice for anyone who wants agentic behavior without a subscription.
