Why we included this project

Managing a fleet of Android devices for testing or product QA usually means wiring together a UI automation driver, adb, a screen-capture tool, and whatever glue scripts hold them together. FIRERPA replaces that pile with a single on-device server and a Python client, so remote desktop, UI automation driven by selectors or OCR, and traffic capture all run through the same API and configuration. The service also exposes an MCP server and an agent surface, which is what makes it useful in AI workflows: an LLM can drive real devices rather than call isolated functions. It works with or without root across several Android generations, and isolated virtual displays keep background automation from disturbing the main screen. Teams that need this to scale across many devices will find the consolidation worth a closer look.
