Why we included this project

Eko lets you build browser and desktop automation agents by describing what you want done in plain language, rather than scripting every LLM call and tool step yourself. The framework handles planning, dependency-aware parallel execution, and pause and interrupt controls backed by snapshot recovery, so a workflow can be resumed after a failure. Because the same workflow logic targets either a browser or a desktop environment, teams automating web tasks can reuse it for computer operations. It also exposes customization points for planning and execution, which helps when you need predictable behavior in production rather than a one-off script.
