Why we included this project

Running a capable AI agent usually means living in a terminal, where setup and day-to-day use happen through command-line tools. Hermes One is a native desktop app that walks you through installing Hermes Agent and connecting a model provider, whether that is a cloud API or a local endpoint like Ollama. The chat view streams tool progress and live token costs, and it sits alongside a session browser with full-text search, a memory editor, a persona (SOUL.md) editor, toolset toggles, and a cron scheduler. There is also a long list of messaging gateways, so the agent can reach you on Telegram, Discord, Slack, and more. Anyone who runs an autonomous agent regularly and wants a visible front end instead of raw config files will find the whole setup, from model connection to scheduling, managed in one window.
