Why we included this project

Grant writing is pressure-heavy work, and a large share of the effort goes into phrasing and framing rather than the research itself. This list collects the AI tools and prompts that help with that side of the job: a comparison of services for grammar, drafting, translation, and mock review, plus ready-to-use prompts for specific aims, significance sections, timelines, and aligning a proposal with a funder's stated priorities. It also links to solid prompt-engineering guides and conventional grant-writing references from agencies like NIH and NSF. For a PI or research team, the value is having the practical LLM prompts and the traditional advice side by side, and the quick prompts can be pasted directly into ChatGPT or similar tools to tighten a draft immediately.
