Why we included this project
AI agents usually end up reading the web through whatever APIs happen to exist, and that leaves most sites out of reach once they sit behind logins and bot checks. bb-browser gives agents direct control of your real Chrome session instead, so they can use the accounts you already have signed in. It installs as both a CLI and an MCP server, which lets Claude Code, Cursor, or OpenClaw call it directly, and it bundles ready-made adapters for 36 platforms covering search, social, finance, video, jobs, and knowledge sites. Teams that want agents to pull live, authenticated data won't need to maintain scrapers or headless login flows. There's also a general browser automation mode with commands for clicking, filling forms, capturing network traffic, and taking snapshots.
