Why we included this project

Before you commit to a Text2SQL approach, this curated index is worth a browse. It gathers surveys, model families, fine-tuning work, datasets, evaluation metrics, and working libraries into one place, so you can see how the field has evolved without chasing links across a dozen repos. The leaderboard tables for WikiSQL, Spider, and BIRD are the standout feature: they show which methods top each benchmark and point to the papers behind them. The collection also reaches past plain SQL into Text2DSL, Text2API, and Text2Vis, which helps if your project goes beyond relational queries.
