Why we included this project

This one actually does the work rather than just suggesting replies: it drafts responses in your voice, files attachments to Google Drive or OneDrive, blocks cold email, unsubscribes you from newsletters in bulk, and builds a short brief before each meeting from your inbox and calendar. You write the handling rules in plain English and let the assistant run them, which gives founders, solo operators, and small teams a middle ground between fully manual triage and an opaque automation service. There's also a Slack and Telegram integration, so you can clear your queue without opening Gmail at all. And because the whole thing is open source and self-hostable, people who want to keep their mail data on their own infrastructure get an option the hosted incumbents don't offer.
