Why we included this project

T3MP3ST takes an AI coding agent you already run and wires it into an automated red-teaming loop, so you get recon, exploit, and reporting against systems you own or have permission to test, all without standing up a separate LLM backend or adding another API key. Security teams doing continuous authorized testing will like that it rides on the agent and billing surface they already have, and when compliance demands it, the whole thing runs fully offline against local models. The project is also unusually candid about what is actually live versus still scaffolding, and its verify-claims script recomputes the benchmark numbers from committed data, so you can size up real maturity before betting an engagement on it.
