Why we included this project

If you run Hermes Agent and have been driving it from a terminal, Hermes Studio gives the whole runtime a proper control surface: a desktop app, a web console, and an npm CLI that all share the same agent profiles. Chat streams in real time with expandable tool traces and inline previews of generated files, while one dashboard manages profiles, providers, models, credentials, memory, skills, plugins, and logs. Beyond chat, you can assemble visual workflows on a canvas, schedule cron jobs, set up Kanban tasks, attach MCP servers, and run multi-agent group chats against the same profiles, with usage analytics on hand to watch token spend as agents work. One caveat: it ships under the Business Source License, so commercial deployment requires a separate license rather than the permissive terms you might expect.
