Why we included this project

Most text-to-CAD projects hand you a single model and call it done. This one takes a different route. Instead of a monolithic generator, it's a library of agent skills that drop into agents you already run, like Claude Code or Codex, via a simple plugin or CLI install. The core CAD skill turns natural-language prompts or reference images into STEP-first parametric geometry, with STL, 3MF, and GLB export for printing and review. Companion skills handle robot description files (URDF, SDF, SRDF), DXF drawings, part sourcing, and even G-code slicing for real printer profiles. Since the output lands in standard exchange formats, it flows straight into your existing CAD package, slicer, or simulator instead of being locked inside a proprietary tool.
