Why we included this project

Teaching yourself binary reverse engineering is a lot easier when the core tools are already organized. This index groups disassemblers, debuggers, memory scanners, and hex editors by type, each with a short honest note about what it does and where it runs, so you can see at a glance whether you need Ghidra, x64dbg, or a .NET decompiler. It also pairs the software with tutorials, presentations, and books, turning the collection into a learning path rather than a plain link list. The author maintains a separate companion index for online games and takes pull requests, so the catalog tracks what the community actually reaches for.
