Why we included this project
Working across several machines usually means your AI assistant's settings and history stay behind on one computer. U-Claw solves that by turning a USB stick into a portable OpenClaw workspace. The repository is a tutorial plus the actual file skeleton: you run a setup script to pull in the runtime, copy the portable folder onto a drive, and then plug it into any machine to launch the assistant without installing anything on the host. All configuration and chat history live on the stick, so borrowed or shared computers end up with no leftover user data. That makes it a practical choice for developers and small teams who want a self-contained, offline-capable assistant they can carry between workstations, or who want to understand how to package an agent framework for portable use.
