Why we included this project
dingtalk-workspace-cli is DingTalk's official command line tool, and unusually for an enterprise CLI, it was designed to be driven by AI agents as much as by people. A single `dws` binary exposes dozens of DingTalk services, chat, calendar, and the AItable spreadsheet among them, and answers with structured JSON plus prebuilt Agent Skills so an agent can discover and call whatever operation it needs. For anyone wiring an assistant into a Chinese enterprise that already runs on DingTalk, that removes the awkward parts, since OAuth device-flow auth, scoping, and audit logging are handled inside the tool rather than left to you. Interactive users still get table/JSON output and a dry-run flag for previewing requests. It is a young co-creation release, and reaching real data requires enterprise admin approval, so plan for that before relying on it in production.
