Why we included this project

Diffusion Studio is a desktop video editor that treats a project as code. The timeline is SolidJS markup, so editing on the canvas rewrites the source, and editing the source redraws the canvas. The bundled command line is what makes it work with AI agents: an agent can inspect footage it can't watch directly, pulling frame grabs, filmstrips, waveforms, and timed transcripts, then cut a timeline and render the result. Generative assets like images, video, and voiceover can be declared in code and composited straight into the cut. For teams that want to hand raw footage to an assistant and get back a finished edit, a promo, or a social clip, this is a scriptable editor rather than a thin wrapper around an existing tool.
