Why we included this project
Scene.js puts CSS and JavaScript animation on a timeline, so instead of hand-tuning keyframes and easing curves in scattered style rules, you define a scene, set how properties change over time, and let the library manage the sequencing, playback, and easing. It ships with ready-made effects like typing, flip, shake, zoom, and fade, plus companion packages for React, Vue, Svelte, and Preact, so it fits into an existing component stack without a rewrite. The media extension can sync audio and video into the same timeline, which is useful when a motion piece needs sound or footage. For animated landing pages, product intros, or interactive storytelling, it's a lightweight, dependency-free option for developers who prefer code over a visual editor.
