Why we included this project

LifeOS layers persistent memory, custom skills, and a running record of your goals on top of a coding agent like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex. Each session starts with context about who you are and what you are trying to get done, so the assistant keeps working toward the same outcomes instead of treating every conversation as a fresh start. That suits individuals and small teams who are tired of re-explaining their setup and preferences to a tool that forgets. The whole thing installs as a single self-contained skill, and it is built to be harness-agnostic, so the same ideas carry over if you switch agents. If your coding assistant currently has no memory of you, this is a straightforward way to give it one.
