Why we included this project

CopilotKit is for teams that want an AI assistant embedded in their product rather than bolted on as a separate chat window. It's a full-stack framework for agent-native apps: the agent gets a chat interface, can render and update UI at runtime, shares state with the frontend, and can pause to ask the user for confirmation before it continues. Because the same agent backend drives React, Next.js, Angular, Vue, React Native, and even Slack or Microsoft Teams, one agent can cover a web app, a mobile app, and a team workspace without being rebuilt for each. It also includes agent skills that help coding assistants set up and debug the framework, and a quickstart that scaffolds a working project in minutes. If you want to move past a plain chatbot into interactive, stateful agent workflows with real UI, this saves a lot of the plumbing you'd otherwise write yourself.
