Why we included this project

AnimateDiff normally lives outside the A1111 interface, but this extension pulls its motion modules directly into the Stable Diffusion WebUI, so you can produce animated GIFs and short clips with the same workflow you already use for stills. Instead of swapping model weights, it hooks the motion components into the UNet at runtime, which keeps your loaded SD1.5 or SDXL checkpoint warm while you play with motion LoRAs, prompt travel, ControlNet keyframes, and FreeInit. For artists who already spend their time in A1111, that makes it a natural add-on rather than a reason to learn a separate video tool. The documentation walks through VRAM needs and batching, and also covers optimization tips and AnimateLCM for faster generation. Just be aware the project ships under a non-commercial Creative Commons license, so if you're planning commercial work you'll want to read the terms or contact the author.
