Why we included this project

An agent that only chats is easy; one that actually does things in real applications is where the integration work piles up. Composio removes most of that burden by shipping over a thousand pre-built toolkits for services like GitHub and Slack, exposed through Python and TypeScript SDKs that plug into OpenAI Agents, Claude, LangChain, and other frameworks. Its session model keeps a user's connected accounts and the tools they can use together, so the agent can find the right action and run it, asking the user to authenticate on the spot when needed, without you hand-coding each API call. A sandboxed workbench handles bulk operations and data processing too heavy to run inline. Teams shipping agents that take real actions across many apps, without maintaining a pile of custom connectors, will find this a practical shortcut.
