Why we included this project
If your email workflow already lives inside Cloudflare, this is one of the few projects that turns your own account into a working inbox rather than a demo. The agent reads messages, searches past threads, and drafts replies, while per-mailbox Durable Objects keep each address isolated and attachments land in R2. Replies come back as auto-drafts, so nothing goes out until you confirm it, and you can give each mailbox its own system prompt. It also speaks MCP, which means tools like Claude Code can reach into your mailboxes directly. The setup asks you to configure Email Routing and a send_email binding, but the payoff is an email agent you actually control.
