Why we included this project
This project exposes a personal Telegram account through the Model Context Protocol, so an MCP-compatible assistant like Claude, Cursor, or a custom agent can drive it directly. The 80+ tools cover the routine work: listing chats, reading message history, sending and editing messages, managing groups and admins, and handling media, contacts, and polls. Because it is built on Telethon, the server logs in as your account rather than a bot, so it can reach the same chats and groups your own session can. Multi-account routing, proxy support, and a Docker setup are included. Teams that want an assistant to monitor a channel, answer in a support group, or take over repetitive Telegram tasks get a ready-made bridge instead of building a bot from scratch.
