Why we included this project

Anyone juggling more than one coding agent has hit the same wall: instructions disappear into terminal scrollback, there's no way to tell if an agent actually read what you sent, and a long-running job is hard to check on once you step away from the desk. CCCC gives each message routing, read receipts, and reply-required tracking, so coordination between agents is explicit instead of best-effort. It covers a wide set of runtimes, from Claude Code and Codex to Cursor, OpenCode, and ChatGPT Web, all speaking to one daemon that the Web UI, CLI, MCP tools, and IM bridges share, which gives you a single control plane rather than scattered tools. Working state lives in an append-only ledger instead of terminal history, so sessions stay durable and replayable, and the local-first design means a single pip install gets you going with no extra infrastructure. If you supervise agents from your phone or want to bridge trusted groups across machines, the remote ops and group bridge features are the ones to look at.
