Crucix

Why we included this project

Crucix is a self-hosted monitoring dashboard that pulls roughly two dozen public data feeds, from satellite fire detection and flight tracking to conflict events, sanctions lists, and market prices, and renders them in one continuously updating globe view. If you want situational awareness without paying for a commercial intelligence platform, the whole thing runs locally on Node with few dependencies and no cloud backend. Hook it up to an LLM and it becomes a more active assistant, pushing tiered alerts to Telegram and Discord and accepting /brief or /sweep commands from your phone to report what changed since the last check. It is less an AI model itself and more a monitoring layer that makes use of one once you connect it, which keeps the barrier to trying it low.
