Why we included this project

If you already run Claude or another MCP-capable assistant and want it to do more than answer questions about prediction markets, this server turns that assistant into an actual trading terminal. It exposes 45 tools covering the full loop: searching and filtering Polymarket markets, reading order books and liquidity, placing limit and market orders, and tracking open positions and P&L, so the agent can both analyze and act. The real-time WebSocket feed keeps prices and order status current, which is what makes autonomous execution practical rather than a demo. The safety layer is what makes this usable in production: configurable order size limits, exposure caps, spread tolerance checks, and a confirmation flow for large trades, so you can grant automation without handing over full control. Developers building trading bots and power users who want Claude to manage a portfolio under guardrails are the natural audience.
