Why we included this project
Burrow is a free, open-source Mac app that packages the usual system upkeep, junk and dev-artifact cleanup, app uninstall with leftover removal, duplicate finding, disk maps, and live system status into a native SwiftUI interface. The part that matters for anyone running AI coding agents is the built-in MCP server: Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor can query months of local metric history, notice when disk space is tight or load is high, and kick off a cleanup from the same session. Destructive actions only run with your consent, get logged, and can be reversed. A Windows preview lives in the same repo, and scanning runs on a bundled open-source engine, so there's nothing extra to install.
