Why we included this project

Budibase is a self-hostable low-code platform for building internal tools, data apps, and automated workflows without stitching together a stack of separate services. The AI angle is that model-agnostic agents live inside the same visual builder, so the interface you use to put together a CRUD app or an approval flow also handles natural-language requests, pulls context from your data, and triggers automations across your business systems. That makes it a practical fit for developers and small operations teams who want agent capabilities without adopting a separate agent framework. It deploys on your own infrastructure via Docker or Kubernetes, which matters when sensitive operational data should stay in-house, and it works with a range of model providers rather than locking you to one vendor.
