Why we included this project

AI coding agents tend to stall the moment a task needs a logged-in browser, because they have no way past a login screen. BrowserOS attacks that from a different angle: it ships a second Chromium browser built for agents, where sessions run in parallel in their own tabs and you can watch live or replay them later like a recording. Setup is where it earns its keep, since it imports your real Chrome logins, bookmarks, and extensions in one click, letting agents work on your actual accounts instead of an empty sandbox. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and anything speaking MCP connect with a single click, and everything persists locally on your machine. Teams automating logged-in work like booking flights, replying to email, or cleaning up subscriptions will get real use out of it, and it runs fine offline with local models.
