Why we included this project
Agents that need to do real work in a browser hit a wall as soon as pages are login-walled or protected by anti-bot checks. BrowserAct gives those agents a backend with a small command-line interface (open, state, click, input) and indexes page elements, so the model can act without parsing raw DOM. The genuinely useful layers are the anti-detection ones: stealth fingerprints, TLS rotation, proxies, automated CAPTCHA solving, and a remote-assist handoff that lets a human take over a stuck session from any device. Sessions stay isolated, so cookies, fingerprints, and proxies do not cross-contaminate during concurrent scraping or account-based workflows. You can run it as a local skill for Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and similar tools, or let it run fully managed in the cloud.
