Why we included this project

AI coding agents are great at the work itself, but every session starts from zero. This project is a ready-made Obsidian vault that gives them somewhere to remember: you drop notes and commands into the vault, and its hooks and slash commands keep your goals, decisions, and current project state indexed so each conversation builds on the last. For developers and small teams bouncing between sessions on the same codebase, that saves you from re-explaining context or hunting for what you decided three chats ago. It ships with full Claude Code support and working hooks for Codex CLI and Gemini CLI, so it plugs into tooling you probably already run rather than demanding a new setup. And because retrieval can optionally use semantic search, asking the agent in plain language can turn up an old decision that would otherwise take a while to track down.
