Why we included this project

Project Golem is a runnable AI work system, not a chatbot that forgets everything when a session ends. It bundles a web dashboard, long-term memory with retrieval and summarization, a skill system, and MCP support, so you can wire external tools and services into the agent's workflow. The multi-agent mode lets you set up different roles to debate a decision and settle on a consensus, and the optional Telegram and Discord bridges turn it into a persistent assistant on channels your team already uses. Running it against Ollama or LM Studio keeps both inference and memory data on your own machine or private network, which matters for privacy-sensitive setups. It also includes a scheduler, a stock dashboard, a collaborative calendar, and even a text RPG mode, making it a broad personal AI workbench rather than a single-purpose tool.
