Why we included this project

Coding agents like Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode are useful, but they stop the moment you close the laptop. Codeman keeps them running in persistent tmux sessions and streams the real terminal to a browser, so you can check in from a phone or another machine without babysitting a window. The part that stands out is the unattended behavior: it notices when a session stalls and re-prompts it, watches for usage-limit resets and resumes the run on its own, and can trigger scheduled jobs. Subagents show up as live windows with token counts, and everything runs on your own hardware with no telemetry. For solo developers and small teams juggling several agents across projects, it replaces a pile of terminal tabs with one dashboard.
