Why we included this project
Teams producing short-form video in volume run into the same problem: turning a novel or a finished script into a coherent reel usually means keeping characters, scenes, and props consistent across dozens of shots by hand. ArcReel treats that work as a structured production pipeline instead of a prompt wrapper. Drop a story into the workspace and an agent workflow built on the Claude Agent SDK breaks it into script structure, generates reference assets for characters, scenes, and props, drafts storyboards, then drives image-to-video and text-to-video tasks that assemble into final cuts. Text, image, video, and TTS providers sit behind a single interface, so you can mix or swap vendors instead of committing to one. It estimates costs before generation and tracks actual spend at project, episode, and shot level, and it exports CapCut drafts so a real editing step remains after the AI finishes. Self-hosted via Docker with SQLite or PostgreSQL.
