Why we included this project

Running several AI coding agents at once gets messy fast, and this curated list is built for exactly that. It applies a clear editorial filter: every entry decides what an agent works on, when it runs, where it runs, or what happens to its output, while single-purpose bots and things agents merely consume are left out. The entries are grouped by how you actually work, so you can go straight to terminal TUIs for supervising parallel sessions in tmux, desktop and web dashboards, autonomous loop runners that keep an agent going while you're away, multi-agent swarms that split a large job, and personal assistants that take work from a chat thread. There's also a section for infrastructure and primitives if you want to build your own orchestrator. That organization makes it easier to compare tools against a specific need than to wade through a random dump of agent projects.
