Why we included this project

This index collects other people's curated lists rather than the projects themselves. Instead of digging through a dozen separate awesome-lists, you get one table of contents covering machine learning and its specialties, from gradient boosting and decision-tree papers to deep learning papers and production guides, plus computer vision, NLP, speech, and explainable AI, along with practical sections on frameworks, datasets, and AI careers and residency programs. Developers and students who feel overloaded by the number of topical lists can treat it as a map: pick the subfield and it points to the right collection to open. It's a curation resource for finding learning paths, not runnable software, and the maintainer invites pull requests so the index keeps growing.
